Day 1 Kahang-Peta Johor National Park (PTNJ)

1030 Gathered at the PTNJ office, in Kahang

1100 Departure by 4×4. The journey takes about 2 hours

1300 Expected to arrive at the Endau Rompin Peta Johor National Park Visitor Complex

(TNJERP).

1330 Briefing by national park staff, visit Rainforest Discovery Centre, and check in

accommodation, Family Chalet at Visitor Centre (VC)

1400 Lunch at Visitor Complex

1500 Blow pipe and animal trap demonstration,

1630 Water tubing activities

1800 End of water tubing (NERC- Kg Peta Jetty)

1930 Dinner at Visitor Complex

2030 Night-walk at Ethnobotanical Garden (Sg Jaler trail)

2200 Light off

Day 2 (Mount Janing – Janing Barat – Kuala Jasin)

Morning preparations, breakfast and hiking preparations, Trans Janing-Janing Barat.

0700 Breakfast, Warm -up and briefing from nature guide.

0800 Start hiking Mount Janing via Ethnobotanical Garden Trail.

1200 Expected arrival at Mount Janing, 655m/2149ft above sea level. PACKED LUNCH

1230 Trans to Mount Janing Barat via ridgeline

1430 Expected arrival at Mount Janing Barat, 543m/ 1781ft above sea level. 4 Ecosystem in

one hill

o Heath Forest

o Hill Dipterocarp Forest

o Livistona Palm Forest

o Lowland Dipterocarp Forest

1500 Descending down to Kuala Jasin

1630 Expected arrival at Kuala Jasin

1700 Tent and campsite setup

1730 Swimming at Kuala Jasin, free and easy

1930 Dinner 

2030 Free and easy, Kerchang (Orang Asli mind puzzle games)

2200 Light off

Day 3 (Kuala Jasin-Kuala Marong, Tasik Air Biru, Upeh Guleng-Kuala Jasin)

Trekking preparations to Zone A (Kuala Marong, Tasik Air Biru, Upeh Guleng) for 6-8 hours round trip.

0730 Breakfast

0900 Start trekking to Kuala Marong site from Kuala Jasin safely about 45min – 1.5 hours

crossing the Sg Jasin river TWO times.

1) Sg Jasin river check point – starting trekking (river crossing)

2) Lubuk Bong check point, 25-45min from the starting point (river crossing).

3) Arrival Kuala Marong about 20-45min from Lubuk Bong check point

4) Nature Education while trekking

1030 Arrival Kuala Marong Campsite, toilet break and trekking to Upeh Guling Waterfall about 20-30min from Kuala Marong. River crossing

1100 Arrival Upeh Guling waterfall.  Enjoy your bath at waterfall.  Packed lunch.

1300 Trekking to Tasik Air Biru.

1400 Trekking back to Kuala Jasin – *same route

1530 Arrival at Kuala Jasin, and rest

1615 Swimming at Kuala Jasin, Free and easy

1930 Dinner 

2030 Free and easy  

2200 Light off

Day 4 (Visitor Complex – Kahang)

Morning preparations, breakfast, get ready for next activities

0730 Breakfast at Kuala Jasin

0900 Pack up and check out from campsite

0930 Load all item into 4WD, trekking to Pacau Jetty for the boat ride 

1000 Boat ride to Kampung Peta via Pacau Jetty

1100 Arrival at Kampung Peta Jetty and ready to depart out

1300 Arrival at Kahang. Own transport back to Kuala Lumpur.

Item to bring

1) Personal clothes and attire for the trip. Wet cloth for water activity

2) Proper shoes for trekking and water activity preferably rubber shoes (Adidas Kampung

for dual purpose)

3) Refillable water bottle / camel bag

4) Personal medication

5) Headlamp/torchlight for night activity

6) Bag pack for trekking/ Drybag for water activity

7) Insect repellent /leech repellent (leech socks)

8) Sunscreen (if needed)

9) Personal toiletries

10) Trekking pole (if needed)

11) Personal snacks (if needed)

12) Poncho/ Rain jacket

13) Sleeping bag, mat and pillow (if needed)

TERMS AND CONDITION

1. Guest is required to submit IC copy (clear on both side) to Green Trekkers for Permit application and booking.
2. 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of the trip / issuing of the proforma invoice.
3. Deposit is non-refundable.
4. Balance payment MUST be received forty-five (45) days prior to departure date. Fail to pay by the stipulated time will result in cancellation of tour arrangements without prior notice.
5. For confirmed booking less than Forty-five (45) days, full payment must be received within 7 days working days after proforma invoice is issued.

Please email the proof of transaction to info@greentrekkers.my and the official receipt will be issued.

7. Replacement of participant(s) is allowed with RM50 processing fee imposed. Replacement must be finalized 14 days prior to departure date.  Less than 14 days, replacement is not allowed.
8. Deposit is non-refundable for any cancellation. Cancellation less than 45 days, full payment will be forfeited.
9. In the event of any causes beyond the Company’s control including, but not limited to, acts of God, change of laws, war, civil unrest, fire, flood, earthquake or explosion, acts of terrorism, no claim is allowed for the remainder of the tour cost not utilized. It is the sole discretion of the Company to replace with alternative arrangement within the remaining costs.
10. Participants are not covered by Travelling Insurance. In the event of accident, injury or death arising during the period of tour, Green Trekkers Sdn. Bhd. is indemnified and waived against all claims. 

However, participants are covered by Insurance PTNJ and Hiking Insurance.
