Price Includes

  • Accommodation & Meals

    • Kathmandu: 2 Nights hotel stay (usually on a bed-and-breakfast basis) at the beginning and end of the trip.
    • On the Trek: 11 Nights of accommodation. This will be a combination of local teahouses/homestays and fully serviced tented camps (especially around Rawa Dhap and Salpa Pokhari).
    • Full Board Meals: 3 meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) during the entire trekking period.
    • Beverages: Tea and coffee during meal times, and purified drinking water throughout the trek.
     

    ✈️ Transport & Logistics

    • Domestic Travel: Ground transportation from Kathmandu to Halesi/Chekhewa, and the return local bus from Bhojpur back to Kathmandu.
    • Transfers: All airport arrivals and departures via private vehicle.
     

    🎒 Staff & Field Support

    • Trek Guide: A licensed, English-speaking, and first-aid-trained local guide who understands Kirat culture.
    • Porters/Pack Animals: Porters or pack animals to carry your main duffel bags (usually a weight limit of 12–15 kg per trekker).
    • Staff Welfare: Salaries, food, accommodation, clothing, and insurance for all Nepalese staff and porters.
     

     Permits & Paperwork

    • Mundum Trail Entry: Local government entry fees and community tourism permits.
    • TIMS Card: Trekkers’ Information Management Systems card.

Price Excludes

  • Travel & Insurance

    • International Flights: Round trip airfare.
    • Nepal Visa Fee: Apply from Nepal Embassy in Kuala Lumpur or Payable upon arrival at Kathmandu airport (bring USD cash and passport-sized photos).
    • Travel Insurance: Mandatory. Your policy must explicitly cover high-altitude trekking (up to 4,500m for Silichung Peak) and emergency helicopter evacuation.
     

    Personal Expenses on the Trail

    • Kathmandu Meals: Lunches and dinners while staying in Kathmandu.
    • Bar Bills & Snacks: Soft drinks, alcohol, bottled mineral water, and personal trail snacks (chocolate bars, energy gels, nuts).
    • Teahouse Comforts: Hot showers, Wi-Fi access, and electronic device charging fees (many remote teahouses charge a few dollars extra for solar electricity).
     

    Gear & Equipment

    • Personal Gear: Trekking shoes, sleeping bag (rated to at least -10°C), down jacket, trekking poles, and a backpack
    • Medicines: Your personal first-aid kit and specific prescription medications.
     

    Tips & Gratuities

    • Staff Tips: Tipping your guide, porters, and drivers at the end of the trek is a deeply ingrained custom in Nepal’s trekking industry.

Itinenary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathamndu and tranfer to the hotel, trekking preparation.

  • Accommodation: Hotel
  • Meal: No

 

Day 2: Kathmandu to Diktel Bazaar (Drive)

  • Drive Time: 8-10 hours         
  • Altitude: 950m (Halesi)
  • Highlights: Scenic road journey heading east from Kathmandu, passing winding hill highways terraced fields, and rural settlements. You can optionally stop at the holy Halesi Mahadev Temple (Cave) en-route.
  • Accommodation: Local Lodge / Hotel in Diktel.
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
 

Day 3: Drive to Chekhewa / Tawa Bhanjyang, then trek to Dhotre (2,752m)

  • Drive/Trek Time: Short morning drive followed by a 4-5 hours trek.
  • Altitude: 2,300m (Chekhewa)
  • Highlights: After a short jeep ride towards the ridge, your trek officially begins.  Walk past scattered pastoral hamlets and rolling hills into the rich Rai and Limbu cultural territory.
  • Accommodation: Community Homestay or Local Lodge.
  • Meal:  Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
 

Day 4: Trek from Dhotre to Maiyung / Hanspokhari (3,122m)

  • Trek Time: 5-6 hours  
  • Highlights: Trek through dense forests of oak and vibrant rhododendrons.  You will pass Hanspokhari (a peaceful alpine pond) and walk along scenic ridge paths where massive eastern Himalayan views begin to open up on clear days.
  • Accommodation:  Basic Lodge / Tented Camp / Homestay.
  • Meal:  Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
 

Day 5: Trek from Maiyung to Rawadhap (3,426m)

  • Trek Time: 5 hours
  • Highlights: Follow rolling alpine ridges with panoramic lookouts on both sides.  Rawadhap is a brilliant spot to experience indigenous Kirat hospitality, local cuisine, and deep-rooted traditions.
  • Accommodation:  Local Homestay / Basic Lodge
  • Meal:  Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
 

Day 6: Trek from Rawadhap to Salpa Bhanjyang (3,348m)

  • Trek Time: 4-5 hours
  • Highlights: A relatively shorter walking day that brings you through pristine forest trails to Salpa Bhanjyang, a historical trading and pilgrimage pass near the sacred Salpa Pokhari lake.
  • Accommodation: Tented Camp / Basic Teahouse.
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
 

Day 7: Day Hike to Silichung Peak (4,153m) & return to Salpa Bhanjyang

  • Trek Time: 5-6 hours round-trip
  •  Highlights: The ultimate highlight of the trek! Early morning pre-dawn or sunrise ascent to the summit of Silichung Peak.  The top rewards you with a staggering 360-degree panorama covering Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Mera Peak, and dozens of other white-capped giants.  Afterward, descend back to Salpa Bhajyang for overnight.
  • Accommodation:   Tented Camp / Basic Teahouse.
  • Meal:  Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
 

Day 8: Trek from Salpa Bhanjyang to Hyakule (2,972m)

  • Trek Time: 5–6 hours
  • Highlights: Begin your descent on the northern slope of the pass, walking through lush green pastures, lower alpine forests, and quiet ridge slopes down to Hyakule.
  • Accommodation:  Local Teahouse / Homestay.
  • Meal:  Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
 

Day 9: Trek from Hyakule to Bhojpur (1,700m)

  • Hike Time: 5-6 hours (early morning push)
  • Highlights: A long, rewarding descent through terraced hillside farms, waterfalls and mixed ethnic villages until you hit Bhojpur, a vibrant historic town renowned across Nepal for its authentic handmade Khukuri (traditional knives) and skilled Newari craftsmanship.
  • Accommodation:  Local Lodge / Hotel in Bhojpur
  • Meal:  Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
 

Day 10: Drive from Bhojpur back to Kathmandu.  Overnight at Kathmandu.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE:
    1. Full name and passport copy submit to Green Trekkers upon registration.
    2. A non-refundable deposit of RM1000/person is required upon registration.
    3. Full payment 60 days prior to departure date.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
  • Deposit RM1000 is strictly non-refundable for any cancellation.

    Cancellation after full payment is made, the following applied:

                50-60 days prior to departure

                – Deposit forfeited

                – 70% of the balance payment refund

                40-49 days prior to departure

               –  Deposit forfeited

                –  60% of the balance payment refund

               30-39 days prior to departure           

                –  Deposit forfeited

                –  50% of the balance payment refund

                Less than 30 days prior to departure or no show.

                –  Deposit and 100% of the balance payment forfeited

REPLACEMENT:

Replacement for cancellation pax is allowed but must be 30 days prior to departure date.  Less than 30 days, replacement is not allowed.

INDENMINITY:

Participants are not cover by travel insurance under Green Trekkers Sdn. Bhd.   (Required by Trekking Company in Nepal, insurance is compulsory for each hiker)

In the event of any causes beyond the Company’s control like accident, injury or death arising during the period of tour, Green Trekkers Sdn. Bhd. and the Trekking Company in Nepal is indemnified and waived against all claims.  All claims shall refer to your insured insurance company.
