  3. Gas stove and gas for 5D4N rental @ RM150 per trip

Day 1

 

ARRIVE MERAPOH  

Depart to Merapoh on own transport or by chartered transport from Kuala Lumpur (cost for transport).

Check in guesthouse/homestay.  Preparation for the hike.

Own Dinner at Merapoh local restaurant or self-prepare meal at guesthouse (there is cooking utensil)

 

Day 2

SUNGAI RELAU – KUALA JURAM – KEM KOR

Prepare own breakfast and packed lunch at guesthouse/homestay, transfer by 4WD to Wildlife Office at Sungai Relau.

Registration and declaration of personal items.

After completion of declaration, transfer to Kuala Juram (13km).  Start hike from here to Kem Kor. Overnight at Tent.

  • Kuala Juram (309m) – Kem Kor (750m)
  • Total Distance: 13.5km.

 

Day 3

KEM KOR – KEM KUBANG 

8.00am Hike from

  • Kem Kor (750m), passing Pematang (874m) to Kem Kubang (1406m), overnight at tent. 
  • Total distance:  6km

KEM KUBANG – KEM BOTAK 

8.00am Hike from

  • Kem Kubang (1406m) to Kem Botak (1943m), overnight at tent.
  • Total distance:  10km

 

Day 5

KEM BOTAK – MT TAHAN SUMMIT – KEM KOR 

Early morning hike from

  • Kem Botak to summit of Mt Tahan (2,187m) – Highest peak in Peninsular Malaysia and 6th highest in Malaysia.
  • After sunrise view, return to Kem Botak.
  • Hike from Kem Botak(1943m) to Kem Kor (750m), overnight at tent.
  • Total distance:  18.4km

 

Day 6

KEM KOR – KUALA JURAM 

8.00am Hike from

  • Kem Kor to Kuala Juram
  • Kuala Juram transfer to Wildlife Office, Sg Relau
  • Declare personal items/things bring back from mountain. 
  • Clean up and depart home on your own transport or chartered transport.

 

Expedition end.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

BOOKING:

The following documents are required for booking:

  • Passport copy
  • Deposit payment RM200 per person
  • Deposit payment slip

 

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION PROCEDURE:

  • Deposit is strictly non-refundable.
  • Balance payment 1 month prior to departure date
  • If the departure date is less than 30 days, full payment is required.
  • Cancellation more than 30 days, the balance payment is waived and deposit is forfeited
  • Cancellation less than 30 days or no show, 100% of the tour fare is forfeited

REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE:

  • Submit replacement person passport / full name and I/C number
  • Full package payment
  • At least 21 days prior to departure date.
  • Less than 21 days, replacement is not allowed

 

INDEMNITY: 

Participants are not covered by Insurance.  In the event of accident, injury or death arising during the period of hiking, Green Trekkers Sdn. Bhd. and the operation team is indemnified and waived against all claims..

 

 

NATIONAL PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS: Will provide after trip is confirmed.
