10 DAYS 9 NIGHTS MARDI HIMAL BASECAMP TREK, NEPAL

TRIP OVERVIEW
The Mardi Himal route has been popular with campers for nearly a decade and lies under the spectacular Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). The trek goes through not only a wonderful rhododendron forest but also leads to a rugged mountain backdrop with a breathtaking view of the Mardi Himal. You can reach the Mardi Himal base camp overlooking all of the Annapurna range. Similarly, this trek starts from Kande-1 hour drive from Pokhara– downhill to Pothana then up to Deurali through a jungle trail that brings you to the ridge into Forest Camp. Then, we leave the forest camp, trek to the low camp, and move towards an open ridge with views of Machhapuchhre. Further, we continue trekking to reach Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500m). Finally, we move to high camp (3580m) around 4 and half hours where the Annapurna mountain range is seen full-fledged.After that, we trek down to the low camp (2990m). From here, we trek to Siding and Liwang villages and drive back to Pokhara. We arrive in Kathmandu from Pokhara and the trek ends here. In 2011 Mardi Himal trek opened officially their tea houses available from starting all the way to high camp.
ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, Overnight at Hotel. (Meal: xxx)
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara, Overnight at Hotel (Meal: Breakfast/xxx/xxx)
Day 03: Drive to Phedi and trek to Deurali (2200m), about 3 to 4 hours trek). Overnight at lodge.

Day 04: Trek to Rest Camp (2900m), 6-7 hours. Overnight at lodge. (Meal: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Day 05: Trek to High Camp (3585m), 5-6 hours. Overnight at lodge. (Meal: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Day 06: Trek to Mardi Base Camp (4500m), and back to Middle Camp (3200) 6-7hours. Overnight at lodge. (Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Day 07: Trek to Kalimati (1750m), 6-7 hours. Overnight at lodge. (Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Day 08: Trek to Lumre (3hours) and drive to Pokhara (2hours). Overnight at Hotel.

Day 10: Transfer to Airport for departure. (Meals: Breakfast)

- A non-refundable deposit of RM1000/person is required upon registration.

- Cancellation Policy:
Deposit RM1000 is strictly non-refundable for any cancellation.
Cancellation after full payment is made, the following applied:
50-60 days prior to departure
– Deposit forfeited
– 80% of the balance payment refund
40-49 days prior to departure
– Deposit forfeited
– 70% of the balance payment refund
30-39 days prior to departure
– Deposit forfeited
– 60% of the balance payment refund
20-29 days prior to departure
– Deposit forfeited
– 50% of the balance payment refund
Less than 20 days prior to departure or no show on departure
– 100% of the tour fare forfeited
- Replacement:
Replacement for cancellation pax is allowed but must be 30 days prior to departure date. Less than 30 days, replacement is not allowed.
- Indemnity:
Participants are cover by travel insurance. (Required by Trekking Company in Nepal, insurance is compulsory for each hiker)
In the event of any causes beyond the Company’s control like accident, injury or death arising during the period of tour, Green Trekkers Sdn. Bhd. and the Trekking Company in Nepal is indemnified and waived against all claims. All claims shall refer to the insured insurance company.
