3D2n Mersing island hoping tour

14 – 16 Sep 2024

Day 1 (14 September 2024) – no meals: Kota Kemuning – Mersing

8 am: Pick up from Kota Kemuning home. Transfer to Mersing. En route stop at Muar for lunch.

2-3.30pm: Visit Zenxin Organic Farm Tour at Kluang. After tour continue to Mersing  town. Upon arrival, check in accommodation. Dinner at town area. Purchase some food for light breakfast the next morning.

Day 2: Island Hoping – (simple breakfast, packed lunch)

Pulau Harimau, Pulau Rawa, Pulau Hujung, Pulau Tengah, Pulau Besar

6.30 am: Morning call and get ready.

7.30 am: Transfer to jetty.

8 am: Gather at jetty for briefing. Onboard boat.

9 am: Check point 1: Pulau Harimau. Jump Cave, snorkeling, simple breakfast.

10 am: Check point 2: Pulau Rawa round island and photo taking (no stopping as it is a private island).

10.30 am: Check point 3: Pulau Hujung snorkeling, coral view and fish point

11.30 am: Check point 4: Pulau Tengah lunch break and shark spot, healing time

12.30 pm: Check point 5: Inside Pulau Besar snorkeling / coral via & fish point

1 pm:  Check point 6: Pulau Besar Island Village for coconut water and burgers (own expense). All activities subject to weather conditions and tide level

2-3 pm: Estimate time of return to Mersing. If time allow, visit to Mersing Museum.

4 pm: Drive through to Flinstone Castle to have a peek at this unique castle owned by the Sultan of Johor.

5 pm: Visit Jemaluang Emerald Lake for photo taking.

7 pm: Return to Mersing for dinner.

Day 3: Mersing Wet Market – Mersing Keropok Market – Pantai Air Papan – Mersing Geopark – Kuala Rompin for lunch – Kota Kemuning – (no meals)

7am: morning call.

8 am: early check out, breakfast at local eatery.

9 am: Visit Mersing Wet Market: Be sure to visit the local wet market and observe local people’s daily life and the freshness of local fish market (not to mention the low price compare to Kota Kemuning!)

10 am: Mersing Keropok Market: Shop for fresh keropok lekor

10.30 am: Pantai Air Papan, spend some time here to take photo.

11 am: Mersing Geopark: Since 350 million years ago, the disctric of Mersing has been sited as one of the international geological heritage sites. The area of Mersing is chosen to be developed into a geopark due to is high biodiversity and unique local culture. In 2017, development efforts started through the Mersing Geopark Scientific and Development Committee. Take a short trek across the sand during low tide, then do a little more trekking towards the site where you can see beautiful stones formations. Can do picnic lunch here if desired. (depending on tide level for you to access the stones area).

Notes :

• What to bring: Original passport/IC, sun glasses, insect repellent (optional), waterproof bag or waterproof phone casing
• Swimming attire
• Sunblock, sunscreen, hat
• Personal items such as toiletries, clothing etc
• Special requests on food (diet, halal or vegetarian food) to be advised before departure.
• The itinerary may be subject to change due to the bad weather condition

PAYMENT TERMS:

• Full payment required upon confirmation
• Deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, in whole or in part.
• Balance payment MUST be received at least thirty (30) working days prior to arrival. Failure to pay by the stipulated time will result in cancellation of tour arrangements without prior notice. Should guest need more time to remit the payment, written notice by email to info@greentrekkers.my must be given 30 days prior to arrival.

REPLACEMENT OF PARTICIPANTS / REDUCTION OF GROUP SIZE

• Replacement of participant(s) is allowed with cancellation fee of RM100/person imposed.
• Replacement of participant(s) must be finalized at least 30 days before departure date.
• Reduction of participant(s) also means that the tour cost may increase due to cost sharing of vehicle and guide. Please refer to price table for finalized price based on group size.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Deposit is strictly non-refundable.
• Cancellation more than 30 days from the date of arrival, the balance payment is waived.
• Cancellation less than 30 days or no show for the tour, 100% on the tour fare will be forfeited.
• Participant who cancelled the trip and return again will be subject to RM100 processing fee.

FORCE MAJEURE

In the event of any causes beyond the Company’s control including, but not limited to, acts of God, change of laws, war, civil unrest, fire, flood, earthquake or explosion, acts of terrorism, no claim is allowed for the remainder of the tour cost not utilized. It is the sole discretion of the Company to replace with alternative arrangement within the remaining costs.

HOTEL ROOM BOOKINGS

No hotel reservation is made during the time of quotation until a deposit is received.  The operator reserves the right to amend the accommodation to a similar class without prior notice.

INDEMNITY:  Participants are not covered by Travelling Insurance.  In the event of accident, injury or death arising during the period of tour, Green Trekkers Sdn. Bhd. is indemnified and waived against all claims.
