INTRODUCTION

MEDAN is Sumatra’s major metropolis, and Indonesia’s third-largest city behind Jakarta and Surabaya. Medan remains the largest settlement outside Java island together with the richness of its multicultural people.It is also a city with real Indonesian urban character and it perks up in the evening with backstreet food stalls. Medan is inhabited by many different ethnic groups. Malay people are the natives of the area, and have deep roots in Medan. They began ruling there during the Deli Sultanate until now.

4D3N MEDAN LAKE TOBA TOUR

Day 1: KUALANAMU – PARAPAT (LD)

– You will be greeted by your tour guide/driver cum guide on arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport in Medan
– Proceed to Parapat Lake Toba
– Enroute stop at Patent Shop to buy local food products such as Teng Teng or Ting Ting and sightseeing Kwan Im Statue
– Lunch at local restaurant. Arrive at Parapat, a town on the shore of serene Lake Toba
– Check in hotel and dinner served at local restaurant

Day 2: SAMOSIR ISLAND – BERASTAGI (BLD)

– Breakfast at hotel, then cruise Lake Toba by ferry boat for about 45 minutes
– Visit Tomok Village to see the ancient tomb of King Sidabutar, then visit Ambarita Village to see the famous stone chairs and execution place of King Siallagan (Only for groups of minimum 10 persons)
– Back to Parapat and transfer to local restaurant for lunch
– After lunch tour continues to Berastagi and enroute stop at Simarjarunjung to enjoy ginger tea and fried bananas (personal expenses)
– Stop at Sipiso Piso waterfall to see this magnificent 110 metres tall waterfall and an extraordinary view of Lake Toba from the north side.
– Proceed to Berastagi, upon arrival in Berastagi visit the Central Fruit Market to buy tropical fruits, vegetables and flowers (you can do ridding horse here by personal account)
– Check into the hotel and dinner served at local restaurant

Day 3: BERASTAGI – MEDAN (BLD)

– Breakfast at Hotel, then back to Medan
– Visit Gundaling Hill, view Sinabung and Sibayak volcano
– Proceed to visit Shwedagon Pagoda Replica at Taman Alam Lumbini
– Upon arrival to Medan, you will have a chance to visit Maimoon Palace to see the Palace of the Sultan of Deli which was built in 1888
– Visit Merdeka Walk, Kesawan Squre and transfer for shopping covering Wajir, Pajak Ikan traditional market, Medan Mall/Sun Plaza
– Lunch and dinner served at local restaurant
– Check in hotel at your own leisure

Day 4: TRANSFER OUT (B)

– Breakfast at hotel, then free and easy until transfer to airport for fly back to Malaysia
– Tour End and feel Wonderful with us
